Burleigh Dinnerware

Burleigh Dinnerware

Each piece of Burleigh pottery is made by hand. Established in 1851, they have years of experience and just as much passion, and they remain faithful to the time-honored techniques that earned their ceramics a worldwide reputation.

They use unique crafting skills that are unmatched anywhere else in the world. Using copper rollers that have been intricately engraved by hand, their stunning floral patterns are printed onto tissue paper, which is meticulously applied to ceramics by Burleigh artisans, by hand. This allows them to achieve results that no other pottery can.

Burleigh ware is crafted from a unique blend of fine earthenware clay that ensures a luxurious look and feel as well as durability. This is all achieved at the renowned Middleport Pottery, the last working Victorian pottery in England and their home since 1889.

About Hester & Cook

Artist-Designed Tablescapes

Hester & Cook started in the home basement of husband and wife team Robbie and Angie Hester Cook.  What began as Robbie’s inspired idea of crafting a vintage door knob into a bottle stopper soon became the company’s first product, Knobstoppers.  From there the company rapidly grew- offering everything from hand-crafted chandeliers to #2 pencils.  Today we are best known for our paper tabletop products designed to help elevate dining experiences.
